Sports Day Information

The Taxal Sports Afternoon will take place on Friday 8th July, starting at 1:15pm. As usual, we are setting up on the sports field and families are warmly welcomed to spectate from the side of the track.

The children...sorry athletes....will sit in their classes on the opposite side of the track so that they can prepare themselves mentally for the ultimate test of speed and agility.

We look forward to a host of track and field events, including:

- sprints

- relays

- space hopper races

- sack races

- skipping races

- three-legged races

...and of course...most gruelling of them all....the egg and spoon!

After the events are finished, the children will return to school so that they can be dismissed from their classes as usual. For safeguarding reasons, we are unable to let any child go home directly from the field.

THE AFTER PARTY....

Once school has finished, the PFA are holding a family sports day on the field for anyone between the age of 1 and 100. There will be mixed sports races, adults and children's prizes (including free refreshment vouchers) and it promises to be lots of fun for the whole family.
