Harvest Festival - 30th September
The children are having a Harvest Festival service at church on Friday 30th September at 1:30pm in Holy Trinity Church.
Having re-assessed the space available in church, we are happy to say that any parents who want to watch the service will be able to do so.
If you are able to assist with the walk to church, please let Mrs Crankshaw or Ms Martin know in the school office.
As in previous years, we are asking for donations of food and other items which will be given to the Whaley Bridge Food Bank. They have said that they are particularly short of the following items:
- Tinned meat, tinned fish, tinned meatballs, tinned pies.
- Long-life milk, long-life juice
- Laundry powder/gel
- Tomato cook-in-sauce
- Teabags
- Instant noodles
- Size 3 and size 6 nappies
- Deodorant
- Soap
- Toothpaste
Reverend Frances has asked whether any parents could give their time after the service to help "bag up" the donations so that she can take them to the food bank.
Many thanks
Mr Lynch
