Thank you for all who attended ' The Christmas Tree Festival' at Holy Trinity Church. All the children in Y2 sung their hearts out to entertain the lovely families who came to watch. What a fantastic event to be part of!

In our English work, we have just finished our setting narrative based on the book ' The Night Gardener'. The children used some amazing writer's techniques including expanded noun phrases,  apostrophes for possession and exclamation sentences to describe their chosen setting. Well done Y2!

During our Science lessons, we have been thinking about eating a healthy balanced diet. We used craft materials to create our favourite healthy meal using the eat well plate.  The children have been asked to look out for packaging at home with the red, orange and green food labels on so they can spot foods that are good for them.
